# Community Standards
Effective date: 01-January-2022
As part of our efforts to make reach-me.link a trusted platform for its users, we’ve outlined guidelines that go hand-in-hand with our Terms and Conditions. These guidelines outline the dos and don’ts of using reach-me.link so that we can best keep you (and your audience!) safe. Please take a few minutes to review these Community Standards and digest ‘em, since – like our T&Cs – you’re agreeing to abide by them by using reach-me.link
If you come across content on a reach-me.link that violates these standards below, please report it to us.
**Adult content**
We want to empower users of all kinds to carve out their own space on the Internet. We also want to make sure that visitors, including minors, can make informed decisions before they click. Additionally, legal restrictions across many international markets limit what content we can or cannot allow on the platform.
You cannot:
• create links to adult content
• advertise full service sex work
• advertise adult media that you create and sell on other platforms
• upload adult content, including nudity, to your reach-me.link profile, link thumbnails, background, or PDFs
• embed social media feeds that would display adult content directly on your reach-me.link URL
• advertise full service sex work
• use reach-me.link in any way to collect payment or donations for adult content directly through reach-me.link
**Hate speech**
reach-me.link is a place to share beliefs and ideas as long as it does not cause harm, incite hatred or violence, or discriminate against individuals and groups based on race, skin color, national origin, religious beliefs, sex, gender, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, disability or medical condition. We’re also not a platform that should be used to glorify perpetrators of hatred, violence, or discrimination either.
**Electoral fraud**
Don’t use reach-me.link to impede your local/national electoral process, which includes misleading the public about where and how to participate, or about who can participate, and selling or attempting to sell your right to vote.
**URLs**
reach-me.link usernames are meant for everyone– so don’t buy, sell, hoard or trade them. Don’t secure a username without the intention of using it, or with the intention to ‘domain squat’, i.e. to prevent someone else from using it, or to profit from reselling it. This is illegal in some countries, and reach-me.link does not allow it.
Illegal goods and services
Don’t use reach-me.link to advertise, encourage, or facilitate the sale of regulated or illegal goods, services, or activities, including (but not limited to):
• Alcohol
• Controlled substances
• Tobacco products, including e-cigarettes
• Weapons, weapon schematics, accessories and ammunition, including firearms and real-life replicas lacking indicators that clearly denote they cannot be fired
• Fireworks and explosives
• Body parts (including body fluids, blood etc.) or offers of humans for sale
• Endangered or protected species or parts of Regulated plants, insects, animals
• Offers for adoption/surrogacy
• Counterfeit goods, including “dupes” of established brands
• Recalled items
• Stolen items
• Products offered through multi-level marketing schemes
• Embargoed goods
• Hazardous/toxic materials
• ID documents
• Personal information or mailing lists
• Gambling, including casino and betting games
• Human trafficking
Any content designed to target minors must not promote any content that is inappropriate, or that exploits or exerts undue pressure on the targeted individuals.
**Spam and fraud**
Don’t use reach-me.link to spam or scam visitors. This includes (but isn’t limited to):
• linking out to external sites which might collect personal information under false pretences
• creating a large number of accounts to advertise goods/services/domains
• creating a large number of accounts to collect affiliate per-click funds
**Harassment**
Don’t use reach-me.link to target individuals with the intention to intimidate, harass, threaten, or bully.
Extremist/terrorist content
Don’t use reach-me.link to advertise, propagandize, praise, or collect funds for extremist groups or their activities.
Child harm
reach-me.link has a no tolerance policy for child harm. Do not upload or link out to content that harms minors or endorses harming minors, including: child sexual abuse material, solicitation of minors, and imagery that feature underage individuals within an inappropriate context. We actively report any such cases of child endangerment or harm uploaded to or linked out from reach-me.link to relevant authorities, e.g. the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children.
**Self-harm**
We want reach-me.link to be a place where users can feel safe as they discuss the journey of recovery in a healthy way, but we also want everyone to feel safe when visiting. As a result, we prohibit content that promotes or idealizes suicide, self-mutilation, or disordered eating.

Shocking or violent content
Don’t use reach-me.link to share content intended to shock and disturb visitors such as gore, mutilation, excessive violence, or physical abuse.
**Copyright and trademark**
You should not upload content that infringes an individual’s intellectual property rights (including copyright, trademarks, and patents). If you believe your intellectual property rights are being infringed because of content on reach-me.link, please reach out to us.
**Privacy and impersonation**
Maintaining individual privacy is very important on Reach-me.link! We don’t allow reach-me.link profiles that expose others’ personal identifying information (billing details, IDs, etc.), collect identifying information (including IP addresses) without the appropriate legal basis (e.g. explicit consent), or expose private media (image-based sexual abuse, etc.). We also don’t allow reach-me.link profiles that impersonate other individuals or organizations.
If you collect personal information from visitors, you must ensure that you have a privacy notice that visitors can review before providing their personal data. This privacy notice must comply with all applicable privacy laws and regulations.
**Misinformation**
Don’t use reach-me.link to post, share or spread misinformation or disinformation. This includes any content that jeopardizes public safety, including but not limited to manipulated media, documentation, or conspiracy theories.
Examples:
• content that is false, inaccurate, disproven, or designed to misinform others re: current events, social issues or crises
• potentially harmful alternatives to medical treatment
• claims that falsely exaggerate or trivialize the effects of or origin of medical conditions or their scientifically-backed treatments, including in relation to COVID-19
